Health & Beauty
Why is it that 6 months after a relationship breakdown, men look downtrodden and women are able to re-invent themselves and look great?

There is no better tonic than a new haircut, outfit or just a new lipstick. You don’t have to subject yourself to colonic hydrotherapy (unless that’s your thing) and 12 hours in the gym each day to feel good and fit into funky, fashionable clothes. Now, more than ever you owe it to yourself to look great and if you feel great, you look really great. Repeat after me … my body is a temple!

Healthy Eating
I don’t know about you, but I hate feeling hungry and I don’t want to eat aduki beans all day (what are they anyway?). Being healthy is particularly important for single mothers, we need all the energy we can muster after all, but its good for our kids to start learning good eating habits early.

However, let’s get real for a minute, who has got hours to spend scouring cookery books and then hand-preparing foods every mealtime, especially when all your kids enjoy is chicken nuggets and chips! Now I’ve found a fantastic site that really can tailor 20,000 meals around your lifestyle and food tastes.

Exercise & Slimming
Don’t fancy squeezing into a leotard? Does exercise bring back bad memories of PE lessons at school? I’ve got the solution.

Complementary Therapies
Being a single mother can be stressful. Together with alternative therapies, diet changes and supplements, drugs can became unnecessary for certain ailments. Don’t fancy drinking ghastly detox drinks – how about detox foot patches?

Have a hectic lifestyle and don’t always get your full quota of greens – how about natural supplements? I’ve found a lot of complementary therapies on offer.

Hair, Skin & Make-Up
Make-up is a quick solution for the feel-good factor. I like to treat myself to good quality face creams and hair treatments too when I can too but I don’t like to pay top dollar. I’ve found some brilliant sites that offer up to 50% discount on top names.

Sexual Well-Being
According to the press, the biggest sector of society being affected by sexual transmitted disease is our sector. As if we didn’t have enough to deal with already! If you haven’t got a partner, why should you miss out – remember the Sex And the City Girls and their vibrating rabbit!

Thought For The Day
Remember to treat your self-esteem as you do your family, value it and protect it!
