Protecting Your Family
Our lives are full of precious things - the people we love, the home we live in, the things we need to keep our lives running smoothly. We want to keep these things we value most safe and above all want peace of mind. As single mothers, the burden is on us and sometimes us alone.

To help you make the right decisions for your family, I have selected some of the most useful websites

Separation & Divorce
If separation or divorce is inevitable you will definitely need advice – trust me I know! Its not always why you separate that is important, it’s how!

Home & Life Insurance
As they say, don’t turn an emergency into a crisis. Buy yourself peace of mind as cheaply as you can.

Car Buying, Insurance & Breakdown
Safety when you are out, either on your own or with the kids is not negotiable. You need to know that the cavalry will come and save you (let’s face it your ex probably won’t)!

Communication
You need to stay in contact these days, especially with teenage children.

Healthcare
As the primary carer of your children, what would happen if there was an emergency in the middle of the night and you needed a second opinion? I’ve found a great site that could be the answer.

Your Rights & Other Legal Issues
There are other lots of issues that I had never needed to deal with until I became a single mum. I can tell you where to find vital information on benefits, landlord and tenant rights, living together, accidents and injury, power of attorney, wills and so on.

Thought For The Day
Remember to treat your self-esteem as you do your family, value it and protect it!

Feedback Wanted
Use the forums to have your say, help others and to get it off your chest.
