I ak a mother of 2 that i had with my x husband. i had a one night stand 4 weeks ago and i have now found out that i am preg. HELP. What do i do? this baby will never know who it's dad is. i know no one can tell me if i should keep it or not but i need to hear from someone who has been in the same or close to my situation. thank you.    Report

This came about from a drunken night with an ex fiance of mine (I was feeling terrible after the break up of a 6year relationship and just fell in to the wrong man's bed.) He now wants nothing to do with me or the babies so I am set to be a single mum from day one. I don't really have any good advice, (if I was good with stuff like that I probably wouldn't be in this mess, lol!!!) but I do think you have to go with your gut feelings. Lots of people think I am mad going ahead with the pregnancy as the dad not only says he wants me to keep quiet about him being the dad, he is not going to pay a penny towards them or doesn't even want me to update him on my progress or tell him when they are born!As I don't have any children this is my first pregnancy and I am scared to death! I never dreamed of being a single mum and always thought there would be a dad around. I do think however no dad is better than a crap one!!!! I'm going ahead with the babies and I will always tell them how much I love them and can only hope that this is enough. I hope this helps, take care of yourself x    Report
