The court wouldn't give him weekly access more likely monthly or fortnightly, the court do register the mother needs time to be a mother to.
Print any threatening emails and report them to the police, this will go in your favour in the court. It is illegal, to threaten anyone. Also keep copies for the court.
Find out when your local solicistors do free legal clinics go along and get some advise, the courts aren't that pro-mum these days but they would be better than what you have got.
Also if you insist in a court that you believe this man to be unstable and a threat to your child, they will not give him unsupervised access.
Do not let his mother bullying put your baby in danger. Talk to the CAB and a solicistor.
Stress is also no good for you or the baby!!
The court would also first try to push you down the mediated route with a court offical present so you weren't bullied like you have been so far.
Having to deal with this cr*p when you've not long had a baby and your body is still healing isn't right or fair, my heart goes out to you, but you can find ther strength to do this, I did.
