Hi introducing myself

Hi after reading you forum titles i dont know if i will be welcome here

I have been a full time single dad for the last 18 months i have 2 beautiful little girls aged 1 and 2, youngest was only 4 weeks old when their mother walked out, we havnt seen or heard from her since

this looked like a good place, but it seems you dont have a very high opinion of men from you forum titles, just say and i wont come back

Chris

Re: Hi introducing myself

Dear Chris

It seems to me that single dads are in exactly the same situation as single mums if they are the ones who look after the kids most of the time. In fact, it is even harder being a single dad, because there is less support available. I'm guessing that you have emailed here because there is not an equivilent forum for men.

You're welcome as far as I'm concerned, but I don't run this forum.

Your situation sounds heart-breaking. Did she have post-natal depression do you think?

Madi
